We are a division of Civitan International, and our service area mostly covers the West Cobb County and East Douglas County, Georgia communities.
On a Global Scale:
Civitan International has almost 1,000 clubs in more than 30 countries around the world. Civitan is a global service club organization that was founded in 1917 in Birmingham, Alabama.
The organization’s mission is to build good citizenship by helping people with developmental disabilities and serving the needs of local communities.

What We Do
The Austell Civitan Club engages in a wide range of community service activities, including:
Supporting local group homes: We work closely with local group homes for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping, resources, and volunteer support.
Subscribe to Stay Updated On Our Impact
Providing educational resources: We offer educational resources and training to families and caregivers of individuals with disabilities.
Supporting research: We support research initiatives at the University of Alabama – Birmingham Campus, focusing on Alzheimer’s disease and other related health concerns.
